Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a new Finance Business Partner to join their March team to drive business performance by building key stakeholder relationships, identifying opportunities, and being a trusted advisor to the divisional MD. G's Fresh Ltd and their Beetroot operation in March packs over 17.5k tonnes each year, a site with industry-leading automation and a significant workforce, they supply the UK's leading supermarkets with fresh, healthy Beetroot products. As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial decision-making guidance to the operational businesses to support growth and profitability partnering departmental management by providing accurate and timely financial data, analysis and interpretation, that drives best in class decision making and as a result optimises business performance. As a Finance Business Partner, you will: Budgets/forecasts and longer-term scenario planning to optimize performance, protect from threats and advise management on how to maximise opportunity.   Ensuring costings are accurate, challenging for the operation and ensure the Commercial teams are fully equipped with the correct information for negotiation. Use data and analysis to drive improvement through the operation and/or commercial space. Always maintain full control over balance sheet risk/opportunity, ensuring position is understood by management and acted upon accordingly. Lead the production of accurate and timely daily, weekly, periodic financial information, ensuring it is informative and understood by the organisation and drives actions and decisions in the best interest of the business. Lead a high performing team and business unit. Candidate Requirements for our Finance Business Partner: Part or Fully Qualified (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills all levels Ability to influence at all levels. Experience working in a complex commercial environment including demonstrable experience in managing business risks, professional financial control, and creation of forward planning. A good understanding of retail product costings and product margins will be necessary along with knowledge of factory packing processes. Ability to have a collaborative approach. Pro-active initiative-taker Flexible and a natural leader Inquisitive and willing to learn.
