Full Job Description

This is a permanent role, working up to 35 hours per week at our service in West Bromwich. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will receive £11.25 per annum.

You will join a fantastic team here at our home which CQC rated as Good, where you will be supporting individuals who have learning disabilities with a range of health conditions.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be supporting the individuals with taking medication, eating and drinking, preparing meals, personal care, continence support and also help with our mobility in and out of the home., This role in West Bromwich might include supporting people with:

  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.

  • Personal care and hygiene.

  • Finances.

  • Medication and wellbeing.

  • Working.

  • Going into the community for shopping or other trips.

  • Their social life and nightlife.

  • Desirable requirements for the role:
  • Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is desirable. ( BSL / Makaton etc.)
