Full Job Description

To arrange the delivery of all components both purchased and free issue from customers, including raw materials to site to enable Amirose to have a fixed production plan.

Ensure a "can do attitude" at all times; being proactive, cooperative, a role model, challenging, approachable and always leading by example.

Duties:

  • Expediting orders to ensure an on time in full delivery Via the MRP / On orders report ran daily and advise of concerns affecting production.

  • Develop relationships with suppliers leading to strong lines of communication to enable challenges to be resolved adequately.

  • Chase outstanding orders and bookings and advise to the business if these falls outside of the day 1 for day 3 rule.

  • Liaise with relevant internal Amirose departments to update on supplier availability and confirmed delivery dates.

  • Update Teams booking calendar daily with confirmed bookings along with the day one for three report daily if changes.

  • Liaise with Procurement and Finance for pro forma invoices and send remittances over to suppliers once payments received to get a confirmed delivery date.

  • Work alongside Planning/Expediting manager in the importing goods from overseas and the customs requirements with these orders which will involve imports from the Far East and Europe.

  • Ensuring that the correct documents are received and filed for imports and freight forwarder updated and documents shared.

  • Coordinating deliveries and pickups from suppliers with warehouse workers, drivers, dispatchers, and other staff members.

  • Reviewing purchase orders once delivered to ensure that they are complete and accurate, actioning any issues with relevant personnel.

  • Maintaining records of incoming shipments to ensure that items are delivered on time and in full.

  • Handle any related issues to supplier service, such as poor delivery services, delays and address with relevant parties.

  • Work with supplier / freight company's to determine a reasonable delivery rate and coordinate the timings and means of delivery.

  • Seek out ways to save money on the procurement of goods

    Excellent interpersonal skills and cross functional working abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), conveying views and ideas logically, with the ability to confidently and effectively liaise with people across all levels of the business.

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work unsupervised, using their own initiative, with a passion for success.

  • Excellent organisation skills and time management with the ability to multi-task

  • The ability to prioritise workload effectively, and delegating work to suitable colleagues.

  • Good attention to detail

  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with both internal and external contacts.

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Strong ability to work under pressure.
