Full Job Description

Based at our office in Sutton Coldfield, we are looking for a Dispatch and Administration Assistant who is dedicated to maintaining our brand's high level of service. Your role will be to oversee administrative and operative tasks within the dispatch department. We are an exciting and growing fashion business with a small team and as such require someone who is flexible, organised and willing to support across areas.

What we offer

  • 20 days holiday pro-rata as standard (includes shutdown over Christmas), plus bank holidays

  • Increase to days holiday up to 22 days pro-rata after 5 years' service

  • Minimum hours are 9:00am-1:00pm Monday, Tuesday & Thursday - with potential to increase to 4 days in the near future (Working days are set however times are negotiable)


  • Daily Duties will include
  • Ensuring both retail and wholesale orders are dispatched accurately and on time

  • Using Sage system on a day-to-day basis to adjust stock level, raise invoices, update products and monitor stock. (Knowledge of SAGE50 is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided)

  • Working closely with courier services to arrange shipments, collections and obtain quotes.

  • Accurately performing quality control and stock take

  • Processing any incoming returns or repairs from General Public and Wholesale customers

  • Maintaining accurate inventory of packaging supplies and ordering where necessary

  • Monitoring of our company website and ensuring stock is kept up to date and added/removed as and when required (knowledge of Shopify is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided)

  • Accurately creating and cross checking internal and external paperwork

  • Following up on deliveries and providing POD's upon request from customers as and when required.

  • Assisting with the preparation of product for exhibitions and pop-up shops

  • Liaising with company Directors

  • Have in depth knowledge (including technical) of all products within our range (full training will be provided)

  • Be able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure

  • Be able to work independently

  • Be a good listener and able to build a rapport with colleagues and third party

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-motivated

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Experience of working with SAGE50 is desired but not essential (full training will be provided)
