This is a unique role with huge scope for career progress and opportunities for travel. This role is based from our office in Newquay, Cornwall. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Generate compelling and relevant content for Wavelength Magazine, Longboarder Magazine and 10 Over Surf Shop, including articles, blog posts, interviews, reviews, and multimedia features, all focused on the surfing world.

2. Editorial Oversight: Maintain editorial standards and ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all digital content. Edit and proofread submitted articles for grammar, style, and tone.

3. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute content strategies that align with Wavelength Magazine, Longboarder Magazine and 10 Over Surf Shop's unique brand and audience interests. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content decisions.

4. Digital Management: Manage the editorial calendar, schedule content publication, and optimize content for SEO with support from our digital marketing agency, Marwick Marketing. Oversee the uploading and formatting of content on Wavelength Magazine, Longboarder Magazine and 10 Over Surf Shop's websites, WordPress and Shopify and other digital platforms.

5. Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant online community by actively engaging with readers, responding to comments and feedback, and cultivating relationships with contributors, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

6. Social Media Management: Update Wavelength Magazine, Longboarder Magazine and 10 Over Surf Shop's social media channels with up to date content assets - a focus on quality reels and video. Develop strategies to grow and engage our social media audience.

7. Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics (such as website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates) and use analytics tools to track the effectiveness of content and identify areas for improvement.

8. Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and guest contributions to enhance our online presence and reach new audiences.
