Deputy Manager

The role for this particular deputy manager is all about process and focuses on back of house operations. It is a new role into the structure at this location due to the continued growth of the store. You will work as part of a larger management team taking full responsibility for the operational performance of the store. Your remit will include auditing, stock control, merchandising standards, health & safety and stock management, to name a few key areas. As this is a new role, you'll have the opportunity to embed your own ways of working and ideas, whilst working within the company framework.

The ideal candidate will come from a retail environment with experience working with large numbers of product ranges. Whilst you may not currently work in a role where you are focused on the back of house side of the operation, you'll demonstrate a passion for all things operational. You'll have an analytical mind, with a methodical way of working in a retail environment. This role is perfect for someone looking for a change and a focus on the operational side of a retail business.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum plus contributory pension + bonus + staff discount, In return they are looking to pay a salary of up to £32,000 with a performance related annual bonus of up to £3,800 per year.
