Customer Service and Project Administrator

In addition to dealing with customer enquiries and fulfilling routine administrative duties, the successful candidate will also have the flexibility and capability to help the two Directors with project work. We are looking for an ambitious individual, unafraid to roll their sleeves up with our fantastic team, who is keen to learn and grow as our business grows.

Key aspects of the role

• Answering emails and calls from customers, delivering excellent customer service.


• Provide customers with information, quotations, follow up failed internet orders and process new orders.


• Work with the production team to ensure timely turnaround of orders.


• Assist with entering orders on our accounts system as required.


• Dispatch and monitor customer deliveries as required.


• Produce weekly and monthly sales summary data.


• Manage our customer contact database.


• Provide administrative support to team members and the Directors.


• Manage supplier costs, invoice and payment records.


• Project work for the Directors to assist with business growth in new markets
  
  Able to build positive working relationships with the wider team.


• Confident communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.


• Organised approach to work, able to multitask and prioritise workload.


• Attention to detail and accuracy.


• Reliability and able to work independently.


• Good knowledge of MS Office products and Google drive.


• Comfortable working with data and Excel.


• Experience of basic book keeping duties would be helpful.


• QuickBooks knowledge would be advantageous though not essential.


• Previous experience within an office role.


Full training will be given, but a good work ethic, willingness to learn and a 'can do' attitude are essential.

A second generation family business, based at Works Road in Letchworth, we are looking for a bright, energetic individual to join our team. Our hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, but there would be flexibility for the right candidate. We are looking for a minimum of 20 hours per week. The salary range is between £28,000 - £33,000 pro-rata, depending on experience.
