Creative Team Leader (German speaking), Williams Lea seeks a Creative Team Leader to join our team!

Purpose of role
The Team Leader will be responsible for day to day management of the Creative Services Team. Responsible for overall management and acting as first point of contact for client liaison, you will build great working relationships and actively manage larger projects coming into the team.
Key responsibilities

  • Be the primary contact for Creative service for clients (UK & Germany) and liaison with offshore team

  • Produce weekly/monthly client reports

  • Promoting services within the bank and seeking out opportunities

  • Ensuring a co-ordinated workflow between all of the disciplines within the unit and with external suppliers where appropriate

  • Prioritising jobs, scheduling projects into the department, monitoring work in process and work schedule ensuring we are following through on commitments we have made to the client

  • Ensuring that all jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe and renegotiating deadlines with the client as necessary

  • Project management of complex projects within the unit in conjunction with team

  • Ensure time tracking is entered onto ENGAGE accurately and enables service costs to be internally recharged, hours to be tracked and reported on

  • First level of resolution for complaints/issues raised by clients

  • Monitor and ensure offshore team manage client communications effectively

  • Act as an ambassador for Williams Lea with both external and internal clients

  • Take ownership for department procedures and processes

  • Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and training within team

  • Manage the overall effectiveness of the teams performance

  • Support Account Director to recruit and select key personnel as appropriate

  • Undertake on/offboarding WL employees in client system

  • Act as a role model by acting in a professional manner and having a positive attitude at all times

  • Coach and manage the performance of team as appropriate to maximise their potential

  • Manage your own time effectively on numerous client projects as well as service projects at the same time

  • Assist in identifying and delivering opportunities to grow service

  • Liaise with clients IT to ensure software updates and connectivity are managed appropriately to ensure service continuity

    Must be fluent in German

  • Experienced people manager with proven track record of excellent client facing skills and good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong background in Presentations and Creative work

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator and the Adobe creative suite

  • Possess great attention to detail and a critical eye for accuracy, with a 'right first time' attitude

  • Able to identify, challenge and implement best practice

  • Good organisational skills, so that work can be prioritised and resources effectively managed

  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, showing delivery focus, as wells as adaptability and flexible approach
