Clinical waste van driver / site supervisor

We are looking for a Delivery and Collection Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting hazardous waste and delivering fresh bags and boxes to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The chosen candidate will have a valid driver's license, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to read maps and follow directions. Additionally, the Delivery Driver must be physically able as the job is active and some collections can be heavy and the routes can sometimes be challenging with regards to identify parking or driving in busy areas.

The other aspect of the job involves management of our small site in Hook. Its is a small yard so it will involve a level of facilities management, some stock control and taking responsibility of any vehicles situated there.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety regulations while driving.


• Deliver and collect from customers in a timely manner.


• Communicate with customers and provide updates on delivery status.


• Load and unload items from vehicles.


• Keep records of deliveries and pick-ups via use of consignment notes


• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
