Full Job Description

The Clinical Embryologist participates in the provision of laboratory services for assisted conception treatments, together with diagnostic andrology and cryobanking of gametes/embryos, according to all relevant professional Codes of Conduct. The post holder ensures that full and proper records are maintained in compliance with prevailing legislation, as well as participating in data analysis, audit and service development, The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply

Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English., An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the scientific team at The Wales Fertility Institute based near Swansea on the South Wales coast. We are seeking two experienced Clinical Embryologists to fulfil this varied job role. You will be a detail-orientated team player with excellent communication skills and a deep appreciation of what it takes to work a successful IVF laboratory.
Situated within Neath Port Talbot Hospital, WFI Neath has at its core a Grade B clean room laboratory facility containing state of the art embryo culture, micromanipulation and imaging systems. The Institute enjoys close links with university research departments and is able to offer full diagnostic and treatment services within the NHS setting.
