Carpet Flooring Sales Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in a busy carpet, flooring and bed shop. As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment., Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
- Assist customers with finding the right products and sizes
- Assist with loading fitters/unloading deliveries, and checking off goods received to delivery notes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

- Have the ability and confidence to develop own technical product knowledge with visits and training sessions with manufacturers

- Computer literate
