BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT

37 Hours Term Time Only plus 5 training days

Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm

Start Date 30th August 2024

Level 3B Points 8 - 11 (depending on experience) £24,702.00 - £25,979.00

Actual salary range will be £21,508.00 - £22,619.00

Redborne Upper School wish to appoint a determined, enthusiastic and highly motivated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our pastoral behaviour team. You will be responsible for supporting a behaviour manager and a behaviour officer in the smooth running of our isolation provision and support students to be fully engaged with their learning. You will liaise with year teams, senior leaders, teachers and parents and give administrative support for our behaviour systems. You will help to ensure we establish consistently high standards with regard to behaviour, uniform and punctuality. The ability to work as part of a team and confidence to work with students, parents and a range of staff is essential. This is a hugely rewarding post that gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with young people and their families.

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 - 4. 'A' Level results are also very good with over half at 'A
