Full Job Description

  • Diagnosing, fault finding, troubleshooting, documenting & resolving software & system issues using given tools (Freshdesk, JIRA, MS SQL, Teamviewer, SOTI Mobicontrol)

  • Escalating issues as necessary to senior levels

  • Maintaining software documentation including user guides and release notes

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems

  • Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets

  • Customer service experience and / or software support experience

  • Technically minded with inner drive to explore new technologies

  • The ability to adapt to change

  • GCSE Grade C or above English Language (or equivalent)

  • GCSE Grade C or above Maths (or equivalent)

  • Right to live and work in the UK


  • Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Strong 1st or 2nd line software support experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server language

  • Knowledge of Windows server and client environment, networking and mobile client / Android apps

  • Experience in management and prioritising own workload and strong organisational skills

  • Waste Management & Recycling sector knowledge, Customer service: 1 year (required)

  • IT support: 1 year (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
