Full Job Description

  • Goods in - receiving goods - offloading delivery vehicles and booking in products

  • Goods out - packing products ready for dispatch including the labelling and all documentation processes

  • Stock control - checking stock levels and stock location mapping


    • It will also include duties such as:
  • Picking orders & Packing orders

  • Location replenishment

  • Order processing

  • High level of health and safety

  • Manual handling

  • Process returned goods

  • Use of on-line barcode scanner management system


    • Essential Skills Required:
  • Counter balance fork lift truck certificate

  • Previous Warehouse Operative Experience

    Reach fork lift truck certificate

  • Experience of using barcode WMS

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Previous experience of working different shift patterns

  • Good attention to detail

  • Good standard of Maths and English

  • Good fitness

  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages

  • High level of accuracy

  • Flexible approach

  • Good Multitasker

  • Good communicator

  • Reliable

  • Good timekeeper

  • Positive approach to work

  • Honesty

    Working a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday. (Commencing initially on day shifts 8:45am - 16:45pm. However, shifts may then be applicable.) To be discussed at interview stage.

  • Must be flexible to work extra hours and change shifts when required.

  • Rate of pay dependent on experience. To be discussed further at interview stage.
