Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team, managing transportation systems, and implementing effective business processes., Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Oversee inventory control processes to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all warehouse regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and systems
- Monitor profit loss statements and implement cost-saving measures where necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proficient in using forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
- Knowledge of business processes related to warehousing and distribution
