We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Shift Manager to join us at our Hub in Warrington. We're always on the lookout for top talent to join our growing business. In fact, we never stand still, we work hard, make quick decisions and deliver to our ambitious goals every day.

This is a 4 on 4 off role and will flip between Day's PM and Night shifts, Day shifts are usually 06:00AM to 14:00PM and PM 14:00PM to 22:00PM with NS 22:00-06:00 but can vary depending on time of year and workloads.

What will you do in the role?

  • Ensuring the Transport Supervisors work effectively and in a timely manner to despatch and conduct effective driver debriefs.

  • Responsible for multi-channel Transport operation despatching parcels daily through primary network in peak periods and B2C collections weekly

  • Support the Transport Operations Manager to develop a peak plan in line with forecasted volumes and or changes in automation to meet financial and resourcing needs

  • Accountable for H&S and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work in the Hub

  • Responsible for overall shift performance, compliance, client service levels, health and safety, employee engagement.

  • Lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture within the function that thinks inside the box.

    CPC National qualification

  • PC Literate

  • Full current driving licence

  • Knowledge of Transport Operations

  • Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment
