Tool Room Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tool Room Manager to oversee the day to day running of the Bridgwater Tooling Division.

Responsibilities:

-Planning, and working closely with the Group Technical Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Manage the tool room inventory, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly accounted for

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of tools and equipment, coordinating with external vendors as needed

- Develop and implement processes for tool distribution and tracking

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues related to tool availability or quality

- Train and supervise tool room staff, providing guidance and support as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the tool room area

- When required assit in the Toolroom with Manual work.

- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed

CAD/CAM skill would be adevantageous and also experience with thermoforming .

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from various departments.
