Surface Mount Technician / Manufacturing Engineer

The company is a growing electronics design and manufacturing company and have recently expanded into volume PCB manufacture with some large prestigious clients. We currently have 4 surface mount machines, 2 reflow ovens and wave soldering machine. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is experienced in programming and running surface mount line(s), Good opportunity for the right person to join a rapidly growing business.

Technical Skills

· Motivate team members in order to achieve manufacturing excellence.

· Responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing.

· Responsible for programming, set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT Printers, programming Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, AOI equipment, Selective Solder Machine and Wave Solder Machine.

· Monitor and maintain equipment to meet company standards.

· Responsible for quality assurance, documentation and programming.

· Lead and direct the work of others efficiently to achieve the production plan.

· Lead daily team meetings, manage machine operators.

· Must have SMT experience.

· Ability to follow instructions and diagrams.

· Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills.

· Decision-making skills.

· Good PC skills

· Soldering, component recognition and inspection experience (IPC-A-610)
