Full Job Description

  • Maintaining all appropriate stock records, both manually and on accounting system.

  • Timely and accurate recording of all production stocks.

  • Ensuring correct invoices are raised for all stock and sales transactions.

  • Checking delivery records from warehouse reports and allocating stock to warehouses.

  • Monitoring purchase orders for divisional stocks and direct sales.

  • Planning and liaising with external transport companies, suppliers and partners regarding deliveries.

  • Dealing with daily issues including failed deliveries etc.

  • Supporting and liaising with sales executives.

  • Supporting the wider functions of the office during holidays and sickness.

  • Ensuring paperwork is filed and saved correctly.

  • Complying with all relevant aspects of ISO standards: 9001, 14001 and 45001.

  • Receiving and processing orders from customers, working to customer service objectives regarding on time and in full, order inputting and confirmation.

  • Organising and communicating with suppliers and partners to achieve the maximum order efficiency.

  • Liaising with Accounts, setting up customer accounts, credit checks.

  • Entering and processing sales orders, purchase orders and amendments.

  • Management of export, analysis and delivery documentation.

    Understanding of supply chain and stock movement processes.

  • Experience in a similar role / office environment.

  • Well organised and proactive with a logical approach to problem solving.

  • High level of accuracy and numerical ability.

  • Good IT skills and eagerness to learn new ones.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team; join in, be flexible and show initiative.
