Full Job Description

Our client is looking for a Shop Floor Inspector to join their expanding. Working on dayshift initially with a view to moving onto a 2 or 3-shift rotation, this person must have at least 1 years' experience of working in a parts inspection environment, ideally within an engineering business (not essential). The role requires the post holder to inspect a wide variety of manufactured product, using handheld measuring equipment, vision systems and other associated inspection equipment, support production in identifying issues, work to standard operating sheets as well as engineering drawings and specification sheets. Candidates need to communicate well at a variety of levels (excellent listening skills, verbal, written), have good analytical and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision, capable of understanding specifications and drawings, understand all measuring equipment within the department (including micrometres, verniers, height
gauges, screw measuring equipment and use of Vision systems).

Duties
