Full Job Description

Bizzykids is seeking to employ a Deputy Manager to assist the Manager in the day to day running and operation of their breakfast and after school club and Holiday provision in Horsforth Leeds.

The Deputy Manager will be required to work with the Manager and team in order to plan fun and engaging sessions to meet the needs of children from EYFS to Y6, before and after school; in addition to providing a healthy breakfast and evening snack for all children. As Deputy Manager your key priority will be to safeguard children and staff at all times. You will have line management responsibilities for team members, ensuring all relevant training and coaching needs are met and that all staff are working within the Ofsted EYFS guidelines and Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines. You will be instrumental in the smooth running of our family friendly and cohesive after school club providing quality care to young people in a safe and stimulating environment. You will lead by example in all aspects of work, and liaise with children's parents and guardians and the School on a daily basis and build on our strong relationships with the school staff

The successful candidate will have be qualified to Level 3 in Childcare with EYFS experience and status and experience of working with children for a minimum of 2 years. Essentially you will have experience leading and managing a team.

We are a small friendly team providing quality childcare and fun experiences for EYFS and primary school age before and after school. Shifts are fixed and will be Monday to Friday (term time ) at the following times: Breakfast 7.15 - 9.00 am After school 2:45pm pm - 6pm

We have two sites in Leeds area and being able to work across all sites at times of staff shortages is required. The successful Applicant will have an initial base that they will be deputy of. Some admin hours will be required and time for meetings and supervision.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check which we will pay for, however you will be responsible for signing up and committing to the update service as part of your employment terms and conditions. You will also be required to provide 2 full references one of which must be your last employer.Any certifications and qualifications already obtained will be required to be presented at interview stage. Your L3 or above childcare qualification or qualification that allows you to work with EYFS children must be brought to interview.
