Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Technician to support of dedicated operations teams at our Cereal Partners site in Bromborough, Wirral. If you have a passion for production and manufacturing and are looking for excellent development opportunities, this could be the perfect role for you!, As Operations Technician you will be responsible for efficient, effective, and safe production of breakfast cereal, with minimum waste, achieving predefined quality standards in line with the production schedule and striving to continuously improve and eliminate waste. You will carry out a wide range of duties associated with the manufacture of breakfast cereals, from early stages of the production process through to dispatch. Safety must be the first priority as we strive to make work safer and easier for all.

Further responsibilities include:


  • Achieving predefined quality standards in line with the production schedule

  • Reporting safety incidents or concerns and contributing to site safety objectives. Completing quality checks and accurately recording data

  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.

  • Following standard operating procedures and work instructions

  • Contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement

  • Collaborating with colleagues for shift handover

  • Managing process orders, changeovers, stop orders, and inventory counts.

  • Training and supporting skills development across the factory.

    Able to demonstrate previous experiences of leading your work activities with a safety conscious mindset.


  • Experience of having to troubleshoot and solve problems. Experience of having to use own initiative and drive to look for improvement opportunities.

  • Confidence and ability using IT.

  • Experience in food manufacturing is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.

  • Experience working in a setting that utilised TPM methodology is desirable.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • An ability to interpret and communicate large sets of data to key stakeholders.
