  • Key Role Responsibilities:

    As National Account Executive, it will be your role to deliver the sales, through the continued development of the TPS National Mechanical Account sales channel.

    Reporting to the TPS Area Sales Manager, working across multiple TPS Centres and the National Mechanical Accounts Manager, the National Account Executive will be accountable for achieving sales targets and growing a loyal customer base. Delivering an exceptional customer experience is also an essential part of this role as is being a brand and product expert

    You will also be expected to keep abreast of market developments, particularly in the mechanical and fast fit market to enable Volkswagen Group to maintain its strong position in the mechanical sales channel.

    As a member of the Business Development team, you will also be required to contribute to the strategic plan, and to then bring it alive through the implementation of key projects and initiatives.
  • Delivery of TPS National Account turnover objective

  • Continued performance monitoring to minimise sales leakage with Key Customers

  • The continued focus on the displacement of non-genuine equivalent quality parts in the mechanical channel

  • The focus on new initiatives and business opportunities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with all customers

  • Provide the highest level of customer service by offering a knowledgeable, responsive, courteous service that reflects the image and reputation of the TPS business

  • Bringing new ideas and operational practices to an established business


  • This role will cover the Midlands region and will be a hybrid position.

  • An ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Managing activities to grow and develop business

  • A practical level of business financial awareness to provide valued input, and insight, at an operational level and recognise areas of risk and opportunity

  • Experience of managing national campaigns and activities

  • Possess a high degree of IT literacy
