Full Job Description

  • Partner with business stakeholders across commercial / supply chain and build action plans to manage Inventory and E&O in line with Med Tech EMEA business strategy.

  • Manage the planning process for Inventory, and E&O, collaborating with global, sourcing, regional and local teams.

  • Drive local market accountability and ensure collaboration with the markets to deliver on plans and identify/track mitigation plans.

  • Analyze, communicate & review Inventory performance with franchise teams and focused markets.

  • Shaping and consolidating Inventory and E&O processes to incorporate the impact of inventory localisation under project Lego, with close collaboration with the GMED PIC team.

  • Key member of regional workstreams on Cash Flow improvement (Project Breeze)

  • Responsibilities for monthly reporting on Inventory/E&O.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on the year end inventory revaluation, and stratification changes.

  • Partner with the FP&A team to further enhance reporting capabilities.

  • Co-ordination with EMEA Depuy-Synthes transformation lead on areas impacting working capital.

    A minimum of 5 years of proven experience is preferred; however, other relevant experiences and skills may be considered.

  • Experience and proven record of financial business partnering with focus on value creation and financial decision making.

  • Good understanding of Capex & Inventory, Commercial finance processes and compliance,

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment and to influence stakeholders as well as business partners,

  • Ability to zoom in and out on business topics depending on the audience.

  • Ability to bring clarity to sophisticated business issues.

  • Proficient in English


  • Preferred
  • Experience at a similar level, or within a multinational environment. J&J knowledge will be a significant advantage.

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain finance.

  • Knowledge of Depuy-Synthes.

  • Experience with corporate accounting systems (eg. JDE, SAP, TM1) and proficient spreadsheet skills and automation (Power BI)

  • To increase clarity and control over key drivers of regional cash flow the Med Tech EMEA BUF team is hiring a position to provide finance oversight and control to the commercial Med Tech organization for Inventory and E&O (Excess and Obsolete).

    The role will report into the EMEA Finance Manager responsible for Capex & Inventory as part of the Depuy-Synthes regional BUF but with a wider scope covering Ethicon and CSS. They will co-pilot with the commercial organization, Supply Chain, Franchise Controllers and FP&A to deliver improvements and efficiencies across regional Inventory and E&O.
