Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and conceptualise ideas.

  • Research market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging innovations.

  • Develop engaging content for digital marketing activities; newsletters, brochures, flyers, product pages, website, PR, adverts, and other marketing collateral, leveraging both written and visual mediums.

  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to corporate branding guidelines, maintaining consistency and professionalism across all channels.

  • Monitor the companies' website, ensuring they are updated with relevant content and identify any areas for improvement.

  • Provide the sales team with necessary point of sale documentation, literature, and promotional items for customer visits, while conducting research to identify new potential customers and markets.

  • Help with the procurement and distribution of promotional items, and corporate gifts, maintaining brand consistency and professionalism.

    Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

    Expected hours: 15 - 37.5 per week

    JayJays® is a market leader in manufacturing load carriage equipment and we have recently expanded our range into clothing and have plans for other areas too. As part of our continued growth plan, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our small but busy marketing department.


  • We are looking for someone who is excited to help guide the business' marketing strategy through creative campaigns and using in depth data to make informed decisions.

    The successful applicant will also have strong knowledge and experience in digital marketing, SEO, blog writing, social media advertising, content creation and to ensure that appropriate planning and frameworks are in place to deliver annual marketing campaigns and digital activities across all areas of the organisation.,
  • Qualification in marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work to high standards of consistent time management and organisational skills.

  • Resilient and tenacious attitude to deliver on KPIs.

  • Passion for learning from customers and prospects to understand their challenges and needs.

  • Competency with Systems: Excel, Outlook, and other web-based platforms.

  • Self-motivated and committed with a strong drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.

  • Knowledge and creative design experience in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, and social media advertising, LinkedIn, PPC, email marketing, and content creation.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

  • Experience of customer databases with a good understanding of GDPR.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills. A confident communicator with audience members, staff, and internal colleagues.

  • Confident and enthusiastic about working with data analysis and using digital analytic tools.


  • Desirable Requirements:

    · Experience of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).,
