An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Systems & IT Training Team. You will have knowledge and experience of clinical and non-clinical systems: CareFlow EPR, OpenRiO, and Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new systems in conjunction with ongoing Trust projects.

As Lead Digital IT Trainer you will be flexible, approachable, and self-motivated. You should be able to work both in a team and autonomously to deadlines and in partnership with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders within a fast-paced environment.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly when required and travel to other Trust sites across Buckinghamshire.

  • Responsible for the delivery for all business as usual training for clinical, nursing and administrative staff who require access to Trust systems. These include the systems deployed through the National Programme for IT (CareFlow EPR, OpenRiO), as well as new systems to be deployed in the future. Through the delivery of effective training, ensure that staff follow best practice adhering to Trust Information Governance policies and follows standard operating procedures specific to their work area.

    Working in a team of Clinical Systems and Microsoft Office trainers, the post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of training the services as defined in the standard project delivery framework in Buckinghamshire Health Care Trust. This encompasses planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of training.

    Work across the Trust, supporting the requirement for correct information to be recorded in order to maximise revenue streams using training and data quality improvements
  • Clinical systems (CareFlow EPR and OpenRio)

  • Core IT skills such as the use of Microsoft Windows and the use of computers

  • NHS Mail

  • Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
