Full Job Description

Admin To take responsibility for processing, thanking and accurately coding all fundraising donations To maintain the central fundraising email inbox and delegate to team members in a timely way where necessary To maintain the content and personalisation of the thank you letters. Make suggestions for amendments and improvements to letter content To take responsibility for fundraising teams incoming/outgoing post management To organise internal meetings, preparing agendas and take notes/minutes as requested To routinely collect donations from across the Hospice and process and acknowledge/thank as necessary Sharing the responsibility of keeping the office stocked with stationary and making stationary orders when required As a member of the fundraising team, contribute to identifying additional income generating opportunities Reception To provide excellent customer service for all patients, visitors, supporters, staff and volunteers Phone Calls to answer all calls promptly, ascertain which
department can help and transfer the call using the reception directory, taking and forwarding messages where appropriate Visitors greet all visitors and ask them to sign in. Direct to IPU or call up to the relevent department to let them know their visitor has arrived and is waiting in Reception Post - When the post arrives, sort via department, and advise each department that their post is ready for collection. Sort outgoing post into class keeping tidily on reception until collected Donations A receipt must be completed so that the processing and thanking accurate is timely. The donation should then be locked away and the Fundraising Team contacted for collection Retail/ebay keep the Reception shop tidy and handle any cash or credit card purchases. Ebay will leave packages in reception of goods to be collected by the purchaser. Once the goods have been collected advise Ebay they have left the premises or if not collected advise Ebay and lock the package away until further arrangements
can be made Complaints handling note down and escalate any complaints by email to the relevent department manager before the end of a shift. Follow up the next day with the deparment manager to ensure the complaint has been dealt with
