Full Job Description

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It's their life, their way.

You will be working alongside 10 people who live in their own flats within the same building in Leicester (LE2), so it is important that you can connect and share their interests. We need people like you to ensure they can live as independently as possible.

If you are a positive and friendly person, who enjoys encouraging people to try new activities and are passionate about helping people to access their community, then we want to hear from you.

This role will mainly focus on supporting one lady who enjoys going out and about into the community and doing activities such as pottery classes, shopping and going out for dinner. Experience supporting challenging behaviours and/or self-harm, either professionally or personally is beneficial for this role.

So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week and alternate weekends, between the hours of 7am and 10pm.

This is a part time role working 22.5 hours a week.

Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.
