Business Analyst

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled and innovative business analyst to join the Diverse Academies Trust, to be responsible for turning complex data sets into meaningful insights that drive decision making.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide effective analysis of data to support educational and business decisions


• Present information in an easy to understand manner, through story telling to various levels of people ranging from academy leadership teams to the executive team


• Understand organisational performance, and use information to better monitor the performance


• Understand how to extract data from a variety of sources and able to identify key relevant data assets


• Challenge current ways of using information to drive better performance
  
  Degree level or equivalent in data management, information management, mathematics or statistics


• A firm understanding of data storage solutions such as MySQL, etc.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to present information at different levels to different audiences


Desirable

• Have an understanding and experience around working programmatically with data through Python, R, etc.
