Full Job Description

It is an exciting time to join South Staffordshire College's, Apprenticeship Team! We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has excellent communication skills in order to deliver high quality information, advice and guidance sessions whilst also working with employers to ensure their skills needs are met by supporting them with shortlisting, selection and appointment. Part of the role will be completing risk assessments with employers, and enrolment support with learners where necessary. Ensuring all documentation is accurately completed in a timely way is a key requirement as is liaising with curriculum teams to organise apprentice briefings in tutorial sessions., The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the on-boarding of apprentices. You will work with employers, JCP, careers and other external stakeholders to actively advertise vacancies and recruit individuals for apprenticeships, traineeships, and government funded skills-based programmes. You will have a clear understanding and knowledge of the college offer in order to advise individuals on the best programme to enrol on. You will ensure that the college develops a bank of potential apprentices and develop them to be 'interview-ready' to create a pipeline of employment ready individuals to fill NAS vacancies. You will ensure that you make a major contribution to the delivery and achievement of income targets by matching appropriate individuals to employers and secure repeat business.

£22,464.41 - £22,830.40 a year - Permanent, Full-time, What you can expect from us - We care about your wellbeing so have a number of activities all year that provide support.
